Markop is just over 2 miles long and yet consistently produces exceptional walleye and northern fishing all season long. Not only that, but from this rustic outpost location, you have easy access to a very seldom fished section of the Pipestone River. Groups who have a spirit for adventure need only take a short ten minute walk through a park-like setting of pines to the waiting boats and motors cached here for your convenience on the river. You will be amply rewarded with fast action on 2-6lb walleyes. Have your tackle prepared for trophy northerns and expect plenty of action on the 8-10lb range. You will be assured of an exciting week of fishing, alternating lake fishing on Markop and River fishing on the Pipestone River.
