Is there a weight limit for luggage? 

There is a 100 lb limit per person. This includes your groceries, so try to keep your personal gear under 60 lb to accommodate your food.

 

Is potable water available at the outposts?

Most of our outposts have running water, but not potable water. Water needs to be boiled or filtered for drinking. 

 

What do you recommend for packing? 

We recommend trying to pack light, in manageable boxes or coolers.

How many seats do your planes have? Can groups fly together?

Most groups can fly in together; however, in same cases this is not possible due to weight restrictions and two flights are necessary.

 

Do you fly in any weather?

We are not able to fly in bad weather like foggy conditions, thunderstorms etc.

 

What kind of wildlife can be expected at the outposts and drop camps?

It depends on the time of year but you might see moose, lynx, bear, caribou, wolves, and many different types of birds.

 

What kind of license is needed for fishing?

Licenses are obtained from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, via their website. You need to buy an outdoors card with a fishing license (the fishing license you obtain depends on how many days you are fishing for). 

 

Do you operate year-round?

No, our season runs from late May to early October.
